Method B - Application Guide
Suitable for painted surfaces as
well as all metal surfaces and is applied using mineral spirits
(white spirit) as
a penetration catalyst (Note that more detailed written
instructions for both methods are included with your Propshield
purchase along with further detailed precautions). Further
application photos can be seen here.
The below example/guide shows Propshield being applied to a bronze
propeller. |

STEP 2
Dissolve a small amount of
Propshield into a plastic container
with
mineral spirits
|
|
|

|
|
|
|
|

STEP 4
Again dilute
Propshield with approximately
5% to 15% White Spirit
(or melt Propshield
with a heatgun or by
dropping a
tub of Propshield into a bowl/tub of hot water)

STEP 6
The job is now completed
and
the vessel is ready to launch.
